Virginia Klein passed away peacefully on November 30, 2021, at Halifax Health Hospice. She was 90 years old.

Virginia was the seventh of 11 children born to Steven and Mary Sferra on May 15, 1931, in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from St. Ann School and Ursuline High School, where she met the love of her life, Bob Klein. They married on June 20, 1953, and had 3 children, Kenneth, Martin, and Gregory.

Virginia attended Youngstown College and worked at McKelvey's Department Store in Youngstown, Ohio. Her and her husband lived in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Darien, Connecticut, and Danbury, Connecticut. In Connecticut, she worked as a health care worker.

In 2004, she moved with her son to Palm Coast, Florida. She belonged to the Senior Center in Palm Coast and attended church at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church.

Virginia will be sadly missed by her son, Martin Klein and his wife, Nina, son Gregory Klein, and her siblings, Bill Sferra and Rosie Sferra, and her grandsons Steve Klein and Konstantin Popkov, and great-granddaughter Arina Popko . She was predeceased by her husband and her parents, her son Kenneth Klein, and siblings Ed Sferra, Bob Sferra, Joe Sferra, Jim Sferra, Marge Nelson, Louise Leone, and Mary Santon.

A Mass will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 10:30am at Santa Maria del Mar Catholic Church, 915 N Central Ave, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
