ODOM

Virginia Odom, aged 83, died peacefully on January 20, 2018 at her home in Deltona, Florida.  Virginia was born June 17, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Angelina and Nicholas Sicuro.  She was the youngest of 5 children.   She is preceded by two brothers Mike and Joseph Sicuro and is survived by a brother Phil Sicuro and a sister Sophie Miglio.

Virginia was married to George Odom February 3, 1973 and became an instant mother and grandmother to all of them.  She is survived by her husband George; along with 5 children, Angela Piserchio, Brenda Odom, Sandra Coican, Terry Odom, and Patty Russ; 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In addition to raising their children, and sometimes grandchildren, Virginia worked at Trinity Assembly Church as a secretary as well as being a member of that church.  She gave piano lessons, played the piano and organ at her previous churches before she retired to Florida.

There will be services for Virginia at Trinity Assembly Church, 875 Elkcam Blvd, Deltona, FL on Saturday January 27th at 2 pm, with her visitation starting at 1 pm in the church.
