Vivian Goldie Slobodow, 95, of Ocala, FL passed away January 23, 2019.  She was born in New York City to Morris and Rebecca (Klinger) Scharf.  She was a member of the Hadassah, homemakers society and publisher of the freeport bulletin.  She was also a crocheter extraordinaire and loving Nana.  She is survived by her husband, George J. Slobodow; children, Arlen Slobodow of Ormond Beach, FL, Carol Karlin of Hernando, FL and Susan Slobodow of Hernanco, FL; grandchildren, Raquel Karlin of NY, Marla Sutherland of NY, Clint Karlin of CT, Craig Sutherland of NY, Amber Rose Ballinger of, CO, Dylan Stauden Maier of CO, Herbert Slobodow of NM, Lars Slobodow of US Coast Guard and Paul Slobodow of CO; great grandchildren, Izzybell Staudenmaier of CO, Breslyn Ballinger of CO, Azarious Staudenmaier of CO, Ian Karlin of CT and Mason Karlin of CT.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn Sutherland.  A graveside service will be held at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102 ^nd Ave. Bushnell, FL) on Friday, Jan. 25 ^th at 11:30AM.  Arrangements by Baldwin Brothers Funerals & Cremations 11250 SW 93 ^rd Ct.
