Walter H Peters, 89, of Elan Buena Vista in the Villages; passed away peacefully on December 19, 2020. Walter was born June 2nd 1931 in Toronto Ontario Canada. He graduated from Leaside High School, followed by graduation from the University of Toronto as a Chemical Engineer. He first worked at chemical plants in Sarnia Ontario. He emigrated to the USA in 1962 to begin his own tool and die business in Hazel Park Michigan.

Walter was an engineer and skilled tradesman. He could build and fix anything. His hobbies included playing bridge, birdwatching and hiking. His real passion though was flying his own airplane and watching trains. He took the family, by plane, to almost every state and across Canada.

Walter and his wife Christine, married 56 years, moved to the Villages in 2016. He is survived by his wife Christine, daughter and son-in-law Suzy and Larry Corria of Olathe Kansas and sister Frieda Wilson of Woodhaven Michigan. He also leaves behind special sister-in-law Norma Wilk of the Villages, brother-in-law Bob Wilk of Holly Michigan and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends both in Florida and Michigan.
