Walter W. Nunziato "Bill" was born in Hoboken, New Jersey on April 28 ^th , 1949, and he would eventually move to the Jersey Shore where he attended Point Pleasant Beach High School and Ocean County College. Professionally, Bill was a police officer in Wall Township, New Jersey, and then an opportunity opened for him to transfer to a start-up police department in Howell, New Jersey. In Howell he rose through the ranks and became Detective Sergeant.

In April of 1972, Bill met the love of his life and married Sarah E. Snook "Sally", and together they had two sons, Wm. Gregory and Jeffrey C. The boys were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his five amazing grandchildren, Tyler G., Matthew R., Keeghan A., Braelyn O., and Blayne T., and his brother, Bruce R. Nunziato. Bill was predeceased by his mother, Beatrice A. Nunziato. He loved all of them with a passion.

Bill's favorite activities were surfing as a teenager, and as he got older, he became an avid golfer, holding a "1" handicap. He also loved music of almost every genre, playing the bass, and during this last year he was teaching himself how to play the keyboard.

Bill was a quiet man that loved his beloved wife and sons, grandchildren, and extended family. He never used the word "in-law"; all of Sally's brothers and sisters and her parents, they were also his family. Bill is very dearly loved by his family and friends, and he will always be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Lighthouse Presbyterian Church, 1035 W Granada Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
