Ward Reno Pifer

On Tuesday, December 21, 2021 Ward Reno Pifer of Ft McCoy, Florida, passed away at the age of 85. Ward is survived by his 4 children, one daughter Carolyn & Randy, three sons Ed & Kat, Darrell & Mary, Dale & Lori all of Florida. Five grandchildren Chad, Wade, Justin, Jason, Danny Ten great grandchildren Twins Crystal & Faith, Brett, Blake, Brittany, Jeffery Justin Jr, Allyson, Savannah, Ashley And three siblings, one sister Wendy & Tom of Greenville Michigan. Two brothers, Stanley & Shirley, Bruce & Sandy of St Johns Michigan. Ward was preceded in death by his parents John E. & Hilda R. Pifer of St Johns Michigan. Ward was born on March 3, 1936 in Marion Michigan. He graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in 1954. Ward was inducted into the 2018 St Johns High School Athletic Hall of Fame. 1953 – 1954 Basketball Team. Ward joined the Army in November of 1954 through November 1956 as a light truck driver. Ward worked at Consumer Powers in Michigan for over 20 years. He moved to Florida in 1979. He worked for Peoples Gas in St Petersburg for over 15 years. He loved hunting, bowling, gulfing and watching his westerns.
