IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Warren
Mcloughlin
October 27, 1939 – February 6, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Warren Robert McLoughlin, who passed away peacefully on February 6, 2024, at the age of 84 in Ocala, Florida. Warren is survived by his wife, Virginia Paige Schultz, of 62 years; brother, Arthur Francis McLoughlin of Salinas, California; daughters, Tammie Eckels of Townson, Maryland, Patti Hahn of Lake Worth, Florida; and son, Warren Robert McLoughlin of Phoenix City, Alabama. Warren has eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was born in Queens, New York on October 27, 1939, and lived in Floral Park. Warren married Virginia on May 27, 1962, in Centerport, Long Island, New York.
In 1972 Warren moved his family to Pembroke Pines, Florida where he served on the Pembroke Pines Police department and retired in 1999 as a Sargent after 25 years. Warren was an active member in the organization of the Pasadena Lakes Optimist Club where his wife and children were involved in baseball, football, softball, and cheerleading. Warren and Virginia also lived in Cooper City, and Davie, Florida before retiring to Ocala.
Warren was a loving and supportive husband and father. He always made sure his family came first to ensure they had a happy fulfilling life. Warren was a HUGE Yankee fan and loved cruising. He loved watching westerns and police sitcoms. He was an active member of the Elks and Moose. He played in the Ocala Senior Softball league for many years. He was proud of his country and raised a flag in front of his home every day. He had a sense of humor that would light up the room. His jokes and use of his vocabulary would have you in stiches. He will be truly missed as he has touched so many lives.
As his favorite song goes, "Happy Trails, to you, until we meet again."
