Warren Thomas Reynolds, affectionately known as Warren, passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in Covington, Kentucky, on February 7, 1946, he lived a life marked by faith, service, kindness, and a deep love for his family.
Warren proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree, he devoted his career to public service, working for the Internal Revenue Service and later retiring from the Environmental Protection Agency in Cincinnati, Ohio. In retirement, he remained active as a fitness trainer at the YMCA and enjoyed embracing new adventures.
On August 10, 2020, Warren married the love of his life, Nancy Reynolds. Together they made their home in The Villages, Florida, where they built a wonderful life filled with faith, friendship, and family.
Warren had a lifelong passion for motorsports, especially sprint car racing, and loved traveling throughout Florida to discover new places. He was an active member of several clubs in The Villages, including the Motor Racing Fan Club and the Weather Club, and volunteered at The Rock Church in Leesburg. More than anything, Warren cherished spending time with his family and friends.
Those who knew Warren will remember his patient spirit, generous heart, gentle nature, and unwavering faith. He lived as a servant of God, always willing to lend a helping hand and encourage others with kindness and compassion.
Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Warren Gamaliel Reynolds and Ruth Esther (Fibbe) Reynolds.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Reynolds of The Villages, Florida; his son, Rick Reynolds of Summerfield, Florida; his daughter, Amy Reynolds of Port Charlotte, Florida; and his son, Justin Reynolds of Cincinnati, Ohio.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at The Rock Church in Leesburg, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Convoy of Hope or to the charity of your choice.
Warren leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, love, and generosity that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
