Wayne Ivey Lewis Jr. passed away peacefully at the age of 80 in Ocala, Florida.  He was born to Wayne and Doris Lewis on January 31, 1937 in Miami, Florida.  He grew up in Miami and graduated from Miami High School class of 1955.  After High School he went on to college where he attended Georgia Tech University and received a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. After graduation he went to work in the airline industry as an Engineer and would retire from US Air in 2002.  He has always enjoyed Photography, woodworking and building radio control airplanes and boats.  But out of all his hobbies and interests his favorite was spending time with family and friends.  Wayne is survived by his loving wife Cynthia of 31 years; children Jeff, Melinda and Paul; grandchildren, Andrew, Devyn, Jazyn, Jordyn, and Jyllian; brothers, Lyndol, Alan and Clay and too many other relatives and friends to count.  A celebration of his life will be held at 1 ^st Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) , 1908 East Fort King Street Ocala, Florida 34471 on July 15 ^th , 2017 at 2 PM.  In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Hospice of Marion County in his name.  Online condolences may be sent to www.baldwincremation.com .
