Wayne H McGinnis, 76, of Port Orange passed away December 5, 2016.  He was born in Manistee, MI. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Virginia McGinnis.  He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Pamela, daughter Shelley of Stuart, FL, son Chris of Tarpon Springs, FL, son Mark of Warner Robin's, GA and daughter Jill (Nathan) Studer of Rincon, GA.  He adored his seven grandchildren: Brittany , Ashley, Jared, Josh, Jessica, Emily and Cameron. He was a loving brother to Terry (Al) Hewson and Dale. Wayne was a beloved uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Wayne served in the US Marine Corp and 25 years as a Michigan State Trooper.  He loved John Wayne and traveling in his motor home. Wayne made many friends along the way.  He was a member of the Amvets and Eagles organizations.

Memorial Services will be held on December 21st at 11am at Holy Cross Luthern Church 724 Big Tree Rd, South Daytona,  FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Cross Luthern Church or Wounded Warrior Project.
