Wes A Obermeier passed away peacefully at the age of 59 at his home in Fort Meyers Florida on December 18th, 2024, after being diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer in late August. Wes was born March 21, 1965, in Nekoosa WI and spent his childhood years in Crystal/New Hope Minnesota. Wes attended Cooper High School in New Hope. Wes went on to start his own business in carpet installation and spent most of working life doing something he loved in Crystal. Wes spent his later years in Arizona and Florida. Wes enjoyed fishing, fantasy football and keeping up on all of his favorite Minnesota sport teams. Wes enjoyed listening to live music and enjoyed the company of his closest friends Dennis, Tim, Donny, Craig, Daniel, Randy and Joe who passed away several years ago. Wes is survived by his wife Karin Obermeier of 35 years, children; Brook, Blain, Blake, Brittany and five granddaughters; Eliza, Eliana, Zoriah, Estella and Esmeralda; Mother Nancy, siblings; Brenda, Spring, Shelly and many nieces and nephews to whom which he loved dearly. Wes was proceeded in death by his Father, Edward, Brother Mark and Sister Sue. Celebration of life will be posted at a later date via social media and held in Minnesota.
