Emeritus, Mayor W.E. Thrasher, of Keystone Heights, Florida. Dr. W.E. Thrasher, dies at Age 83. (95-15-38 to 10-22-21) Wilbert Thrasher, was born at home Sunday morning, in "Iron Bridge," a suburb of Mt. Pleasant, PA. the youngest of three children of the late, W.E. and Dorothy Thrasher, Sr. He graduated Dunbar (PA) High School, in 1957 where he met and married his high school sweetheart and life soulmate, Laura Belle Richter, who preceded him in death. Wil loved the Lord and praised God for the opportunity to lead his life long friend to Christ, Mr. Jerry Moler & influenced many others in faith. Wil accomplished many things in life: an AT&T employee for many years, received a Doctorate, was a successful entrepreneur and business founder of Biscayne Specialties, an inventor with several patents, real estate mogul. He was a licensed pilot of many vessels; fixed –wing, commercial balloonist, sea plane pilot and, air gliders – Once he even piloted the Good Year blimp! He was an amateur radio operator W4SAC, and F.C.C First Class Commercial-licensed television broadcast engineer, author, publisher and loving father. He is survived by his children: Cheryl Yvonne, spouse Rev. Mark J Bane Sandra Lynn, spouse Mr. Bruce McCumber Patricia Irene spouse Dr. Arthur Ratcliffe. His grand children: Rev. Michael and Katrina Finn, Mr. Richard and Tiffany Morley, Mrs. Jaclyn Kelley Rossmann, Mr. Travis and Elisabeth Hamlin, Mr. Tyler and Taylor Ratcliffe and Mr. Dalton Thrasher Ratcliffe His great grand children: Miss. Elizabeth Grace Morley Miss. Alice Riley Rossmann Mr. Theodore Grant Morley Miss. Geraldine Marie Morley Miss. Danielle Jordyn Ratcliffe
