William L. Russell, 74, of Ocala, Florida passed away peacefully and surrounded by loving family on Sunday, February 10th, at Advent Health Ocala after complications from open heart surgery. A service celebrating Bill's life will be held on Wednesday, February 13th at 10:00am at Baldwin Brothers Cremation and Funeral Home, 11250 Southwest 93rd Court Road, Suite #300, Ocala, FL 34481.

Bill was born on November 8, 1944 to William and Ella Russel in Rahway, New Jersey. Bill was proud of his military service, serving in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. He was a lifelong Yankees and Giants fan, and loved animals, especially cats, but his greatest love was his wife of 27 years, Marilyn Russell.

Bill was pre-decesased by his brother Stephen G. Russell and sister Marie Steets. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn of Ocala, FL, his stepdaughter Erin Byrne and son-in-law Robert Holmqvist, his stepson Michael Irwin and life partner Patty Delvecchio, his granddaughters Madeline Tremblay of Park Ridge, NJ and Toni Smith of Dunellen, NJ, nieces and nephews Judi Cook, Sharon O'Hagan, Jacki Steets and Kevin Steets and his trusted companion, Jonas the Cat.
