William Sprigg Borel, 76, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. William was born in Columbus, Ohio to Richard and Margaret Borel.  He was a US Army Veteran and 1968 graduate of the Defence Language Institute, as well as serving in the Air Force Security Agency.  William also graduated from Muskingham College of Ohio and was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.  William worked for and retired from Hillsboro County as a computer analyst.

He is survived by Carolyn Shelley and stepson Timothy Shelley, and his brother Richard Borel. William will be laid to rest at Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa, FL.
