William "Bill" John Boswick, 75, crossed over to be with Jesus on November 25th, 2020 with his wife by his side in Ocala, Florida.

He was born July 1st, 1945 in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania to John and Margaret (Burdick) Boswick.

Bill graduated from the Smethport area schools. He played and lettered in Track, Basketball, and Football. While in school he was named as "the Romeo who shows exceptional athletic ability." He then went into the Army Corps of Engineers from 1963-1966, where he was stationed in Germany. After his enlistment, he attended the Rochester School of Business and worked with computers for several years before deciding that working behind a desk was not for him. Instead, he decided to become a plumber's apprentice and work with his hands. Bill moved to sunnier weather in Florida in 1976.

Bill's interests include spending time with family, trout fishing, golf, tennis, camping, and playing cards. He enjoyed traveling around the world to explore. Bill devoted much of his time and energy to serving others by painting, pressure washing, plumbing, woodworking, and general repairs.

Bill is survived by his wife Coley Boswick; sister JoAnne Clark; sister Kay Mattson; daughtersdaughters Robin (Dave) Newman, Kari (Max) Dollar and Sarah Boswick, Step-daughter Samantha (Steve) Kostowicz, Stepson Jesse Sutton, 8 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was a loving father and husband. He always found a reason to smile, laugh, and make light of life. Bill loved history and had a vast knowledge of antique artifacts. He enjoyed visiting various museums and historical spots.

Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Estelle House, Hospice in Marion County.
