William Rowan Henry Brown, Jr. , 84, died May 11, 2024 at 2:06 am at HCA Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, FL.  William "Bill" was born June 21, 1939, to William Rowan Henry Brown, Sr. and Alice J. (Barnewall) Brown in Pacoima, California.

Bill was united in marriage to Sidney Kay (King) Brown in 1958.  They later divorced. Jean Hanna and Amber Grout are former spouses.   He is survived by his former wives and 5 daughters: Lani (Allen) Gray, Fort Madison, IA, Leslie (Ron) Pezley, Panama City Beach, FL, Leah Storms, Fort Madison, IA, Lori Vincent, Panama City Beach, FL, and Kimberly (Roger) Howsley, Honolulu, HI, 8 grandchildren: Lauren, Patrick, Bryan, A Taylor, Charles, Nichole, Michelle, and Brett,  9 great grandchildren: Jack, Mark, Faye, Hannah, Claire, Jackson, Connor, Owen, and Kennedy,  1 brother Jerrold (Noriyo) Brown, Honolulu, HI and 1 sister Carolyn Brown, Honolulu, HI, 1 nephew and 3 nieces. Bill also leaves behind his caretaker, Donna Mignogna, North Port, FL.

His parents and 1 great-granddaughter, Everly, preceded him in death.

Bill was a pilot and flight instructor in Fort Madison, IA and later was involved with Amateur Ham radio and had friends worldwide. Bill had a lifelong passion for most anything that went fast.

Per his request, he will be cremated and is in the care of Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 1100 EL Jobean Rd #104 Port Charlotte, FL  33948.   No formal services are planned at this time.
