William Cottle's Obituary
| William H Cottle, 81, passed away peacefully with family by his side on March 9, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL. Born in Melrose, MA on August 21, 1937 to William and Mary Ann Cottle, he graduated from Malden Catholic High School. He then went on to attend Merrimack College in Andover, MA for two years. He was a Vietnam veteran in the United States Marine Corp from 1958-1962. William worked for Harvey Industries in Massachusetts for 24 years before moving to The Villages in 2007. He enjoyed gardening, the Patriots and Red Sox, and reading. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara of 38 years; children, Michael (Kathy) Cottle, Bobby (Miyuki) Cottle, Sharon (Mark) L'Heureux Dressel and Michael L'Heureux; grandchildren, Sierra, Brianna, Kaylee, Kazuki, Camrin; great grandchildren, Aiden, Sailor, and Boston. William is also survived by his siblings Marylou, Frankie, and John. Per his request there will be no formal services but the family has asked to make donations in his memory to Cornerstone Hospice House in The Villages, FL or cshospice.org. |
