William R. Cox,Jr. (Bill) passed away unexpectantly of April 24, 2026 Bill was the loving husband of Hillery and father to son Geoffrey and daughter -in-law Nikki. He was grandfather to Madison and Mason. He was 81 years old. Bill was born in Akron, Ohio to Ruth and William Cox. He was raised in South Africa, New Zealand and Copley, Ohio. He attended Ohio University and was a veteran. He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company and Republic Steel. Bill was a member of National Lodge in Barberton, Ohio (Masons) and The Order of the Eastern Star (OES) in Brecksville, Ohio. He was the Worthy Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of Ohio OES in 2017. Bill was a highly respected and valuable member of society. He will be sorely missed.
