William John Dennis of Clermont, FL passed away on March, 24th, 2024. He was 77 years of age. At the time of his passing, he was comforted by close family and friends at the Cornerstone Hospice of Clermont.

Bill as he was known to those who knew him, was born to Frank and Jennie Dennis in Zion, NJ on 11/19/1946. Bill was preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Donna. He is survived by his children, Glenn, Matthew and Cynthia, along with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bill and Donna loved their children, the grandkids, their extended family and their life in Clermont. Bill's long career in construction and cabinetry leaves behind his fingerprints as a legacy on many of the buildings and homes throughout central Florida.

Bill had a true adventurer's spirit, which reflected in everything he did. He loved the outdoors, and loved traveling, which ultimately took him exploring through most of the states east of the Mississippi. He especially loved his time spent on the water fishing Clermont's many lakes and canals.

Bill's wisdom and quick wit will be missed, and his absence will leave a huge void in our family. Although heartbroken by his loss, we rejoice in the knowledge that he's once again standing beside Donna, his loving wife, as they reunite in the Kingdom of Heaven.

A memorial service will be held at Ferndale Baptist Church on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at 2:00pm.
