William Joseph Erndl, 84, of Port Orange, passed away on February 21 at his home. A Brooklyn, New York native, William came to this area in 1978 from Virginia. He served his country in the US Navy and went on to become an electrical engineer retiring from General Electric. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending his time bowling, fishing and playing poker. William was preceded in death by his daughter Kathleen Erndl. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Mary Lee Erndl, sons, Christopher Erndl of Sanford, FL, Jay (Lauryn) Erndl of DeBary, FL, Mike (Rita) Cronin of Swoyersville, PA, Timothy Cronin of Reading, MA, Daniel Cronin of Reading, MA, Dennis (Michelle) Cronin of West Wareham, MA and Joseph (Christine) Cronin of Melrose, MA, daughters, Catherine Cronin of Melrose, MA, Mary Elizabeth (Mike) Nave of Daytona Beach, FL, 21 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
