William F. Hamilton, 91, of Titusville, Florida, passed away on April 27, 2026.
Bill was born on January 14, 1935, in Tryon, North Carolina, to Gladys and Bob-Jack Hamilton. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later worked at the Kennedy Space Center with RCA, where he was involved in collecting data from rocket launches. He went on to serve as a Business Manager for the IBEW, a role he held with enthusiasm and pride.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Fleckinger and her husband Larry; his son, Randy Hamilton and his wife Tanya; his grandchildren, Layla Hollowell (Mike), Haley Gugliami (Anthony), Casey Fleckinger, Taylor Fleckinger (Jenny); and his great-grandchildren, Brayden, Carson, and Finley. Bill is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Patrick Hamilton, Barbara Horton, Bruce Hamilton, Cotton Hamilton and Annette Hamilton Bain along with many nieces and nephews. Bill was the “Rock” of our family and will be missed and loved forever.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Robert Hamilton; wife Donna Hamilton, Virginia Hamilton; his brothers, Bob, Marty, and Shannon Hamilton.
Bill enjoyed boating, fishing, cooking, and had a remarkable talent for fixing or “MacGyvering” just about anything.
Services will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.
