William Richard Horne passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on September 9, 2018. Born in 1949, Richard lived a life so full that most would need two lifetimes to experience all that he did. From serving briefly in the military, to leading a telecommunications firm at the height of the dot.com boom, Richard was always chasing new adventures. He was hard to pin down, danced to his own tune, and "lived life in the fast lane". Survived by his three children; Sandra, Richie, and Eric as well as four grandchildren, his legacy will endure far into the future. He will be remembered for his larger than life personality, wit, and love for his family. Please come and celebrate Richard's life at Baldwin Brother's Funeral Home located at 4320 Colonial Blvd in Fort Myers on Sunday, September 16. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm. Burial will take place at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.
