IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William "Bill"
Howard Uebele
April 4, 1959 – July 29, 2025
William "Bill" Howard Uebele, 66, of Tavares, Florida, passed away on July 29, 2025.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 4, 1959, Bill spent many years raising his family in Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, before fulfilling his dream of retiring to Florida.
Bill was a devoted husband and father whose love for his family knew no bounds. Everything he did—every choice, every sacrifice—was grounded in that deep devotion. He was the kind of man who always put his loved ones first, who made you feel safe, seen, and cherished.
He was a licensed ham radio operator for over 40 years, combining his love for communication with a fascination for weather. Whether tracking storms or chatting with fellow operators around the world, radio gave him a window into the world and a connection to others that he cherished.
Later in life, Bill discovered a new passion—Disney World. From his very first visit, he was hooked. The magic, imagination, and joy it brought out in him became a lasting source of happiness and wonder.
Bill also had a deep interest in politics and space, always staying informed and curious about the world. But it was his infectious sense of humor, unwavering positivity, and ability to find laughter in even the hardest moments that made him truly unforgettable.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patsy Uebele; his daughter, Kellie Uebele, and son-in-law, Garrett Hennis; his stepdaughters, Janine Clark and Amanda Miller-Lindemuth; and six grandchildren, Dylan, Lindsay, Hannah, Logan, Thomas, & Liam.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Howard, and his sister, Delores Forte.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal service—just a private goodbye ceremony held by his immediate family.
Bill's love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and adored him.
