William Dudley Kieffer, 82, of Punta Gorda FL, passed away on Friday 2/21/2025 at a hospital in Cape Coral FL, with his wife by his side.

Bill was born in Shelby OH, on 8/12/1942, to Dudley and Evelyn Kieffer. He attended Clearwater High School in FL, then joined the United States Navy at age 17. After the Navy, he was a technical trainer for NCR in Ohio. He moved back to FL and worked for Elcotel. He was transfered to Georgia in 1996 where he was employeed by Premiere Technologies. Later, he was a real estate agent, and married his wife Susan. They retired to Punta Gorda, FL in 2008 and enjoyed many voyages on their sailboat Florida Buoy. At age 79, Bill began building a race car in his garage and continued this project until his passing.

Bill battled cancer since 2018. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, their families and his best pal, Charlie.
