William R. Koehler was born on May 11, 1939 to Dr. and Mrs. August Koehler of West Orange, NJ. He was married to wife, Joan for 58 years; father of August F., William J., Wade A., Robert J., and Cynthia L. Wooldridge. Grandfather of Abby, Jack, Toby, Ginger and Parker. Brother of Carol and Betty Marie. He was quick to laugh and was good with a hammer and volunteered at Habitat for Humanity in Wildwood and the soup kitchen in Bellview. He often spoke of his adored dog, Walter, "the best dog ever". Prior to his stroke in 2012 he frequented Town Squares dancing the time away with anyone and everyone who cared to join him. He passed away at Cornerstone Hospice, The Villages, Fl. on April 22, 2020 of natural causes.
