William David Lane – 62 David went Home to be with the Lord 7/25/24 after a long battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. David was born and raised in Maryville TN, spending all of his life there until moving to FL 8 years ago. He was a passionate, caring, and hard-working man that cherished his family and always wanted to help others. He loved the Lord and never missed an opportunity to preach, always known to have a prayer or scripture ready for anyone. He leaves behind his wife Tammie of 31 years, his children David, Brittany, Rosita, Ethan, and multiple grandchildren. He was an inspiration to many, as a much beloved Father, Husband, Brother, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Uncle, Cousin, Brother-in-law, Father-in-law, and Friend. He will be missed, but as he would say, "I will see you again in Glory." Baldwin Brothers of Port Charlotte is honored to serve the Lane family.
