William Joseph McIntire, 66, of Cape Coral, Florida passed away February 3, 2022.

Bill is survived by his son, Sean McIntire of Brentwood Tennessee, and sisters Pat Mastin, Sara Able and Bonnie Frisby of Louisville and Steve McIntire of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his older brother and Best Man, Mike, of Lakeland and younger sister Catherine Ann McIntire

He was born in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Billy and Mary Ann McIntire.

Bill served as an alter boy at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Louisville.  He attended Atherton High School in Louisville,and later attended Jefferson Community College to study architectural drafting.

An avid golfer, he once got to live his dream by being a caddy for a friend and pro golfer at the PGA Honda Classic.

He was married to Jo Ann McIntire and lived in Central Florida and got to enjoy the nearby Walt Disney World and SeaWorld. He drove a truck for McLane Trucking. He loved fishing and spent many weekends with his family boating and tubing on East Lake Toho. He attended Boy Scout meetings with his son Sean.

A celebration of life will be held in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Memorials may be donated to the American Cancer Society of Fort Myers, Florida.
