William "Bill" Edwin Mitchell, 92, went to be with the Lord on September 4, 2021.  He was born on January 14, 1929 in Kansas City, Kansas to David and Josephine Mitchell. At a very young age Bill joined and served proudly with U. S. Coast Guard. He owned and operated his own Heating and Air Conditioning company in Kansas City.  Bill was very outgoing, friendly and loved to play golf.  He always loved spending time with Family and friends any opportunity that he had.  He was married to Joyce Mitchell for 24 years. He and Joyce were very active members at Hope Lutheran Church in The Villages. Bill was preceded in death by his children, Barbara Eshelbrenner and Robert Mitchell; sister, Rosemary and a brother Edward.  He is survived by loving wife Joyce Mitchell; son, William David Mitchell; daughter, Diane Mitchell; step children, Gregory Corns and Julie Wright; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grand children.  In lieu of flowers please send donations in his name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 304 La Grande Blvd, The Villages, FL 32159.
