It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Spurrell, Jr. of Summerfield FL, age 72, on July 17, 2026. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Leslie; son William Spurrell, lll; daughter-in-law Olivia; and two grandchildren; Abigail; and William Spurrell, IV of Odessa FL, as well as one surviving sister Patsy Wilson of Georgia . He was predeceased by his father William Spurrell, Sr; mother Anna Spurrell; and sisters Joann Noble of Key Largo FL, and Laura Hines of Arizona.

Bill was a residential home builder in Marion County for over 20 years. He loved to fish and vacation in the Bahamas every year with his family . He will be sadly missed. His love and memory will live in our hearts forever. Memorial service will be Saturday August 15 at 11 am at Sunset Harbor Baptist Church, 9200 SE Sunset Harbor Road, Summerfield FL.
