William F. (Bill) Stuck, 90, of Venice, Fl. passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 27th, 2026, at Venice Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday November 5th at Grace United Methodist Church, Venice FL. Burial will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
Bill was born in Bradley, Il. to Orlando F and Hazel Mae Stuck on August 10th, 1936. He graduated from Bradley High School in 1954 and entered the Air Force in July 1954.
Bill later married Bonnie Lochner December 28th, 1968, and were married for 58 years.
Bill served in the Air Force for 21 years in Vietnam War and retired as a Master Sargent and moved to Florida from Illinois in 1978. He worked as Head Custodian at Grace United Methodist Church. In his early Military years, he did competitive Roller Skate Dancing and won many trophies and awards with his partner. Later in his retirement his new love was Quilting. He made many items for family and friends and won a blue ribbon at the Sarasota County Fair for a Patriotic Quilt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orlando Stuck and Hazel Mae Brickel Stuck. Brothers, Robert and Gerald Stuck and Sisters, Janet Coyne and Karen Goodchild.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, daughter Deborah Basden, Venice, FL, Sister, Sarah (Sally) Cobb and Brother-in-Law Larry Cobb, China Springs, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church of Venice, Florida and Tidewell Hospice.
