William F. Vause, 78, died on November 11, 2022. William (Bill) Is survived by his daughters, Christine Brophy, Kathleen Erdelyan (John), Angie Rich (Darrell), his 6 grandchildren: Ryan Brophy and Katie Brophy-Chronister, Lexie and Ray Erdelyan and Lorelei and Gunter Rich, and his former wife, Carolyn Vause. He Is also survived by his brother, Gerald (Pat) and a sister, Carol Snyder (Kenny) and many nieces and nephews.

Bill was born in Daytona Beach to William F. and Anne Vause on April 3, 1944.  He lived in the area his entire life except when he served in the Air Force.  While in the Air Force, he was stationed in Thailand, Okinawa, Texas and Georgia. He served from 1963 to 1967.

Bill worked for Florida Power and Light for 35 years in the Daytona, Bunnell and Port Orange yards. He retired in 2003.

Bill's favorite past time was listening to music, especially the Beatles, Johnny Cash, the Animals, Cat Stevens, R.E.M. and Led Zeppelin.  He also liked the beach and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Bill's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
