William R Voreis "Bill" 77, passed away on June 13, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.  Bill was born in Wabash, IN on August 9th 1940 to Ralph and Marjorie Voreis.  The Voreis family lived in Laketon, IN before moving to Daytona Beach, FL in 1955.  Bill graduated from Mainland High School in 1958 and attended Daytona Beach Junior College before entering the Air Force.  In the Air Force he received training to become an Air Traffic Controller.  After an honorable discharge from the Air Force, Bill spent 34 years as an FAA Air Traffic Controller before retiring in 1995.  Time was also spent throughout his life at various positions at Daytona International Speedway.  Bill loved spending time with his family, friends, enjoying the Balsam, NC area, cooking BBQ, and watching college basketball.  Bill is survived by his wife Louise, son  Brad, son Drew (Jenny), granddaughters Lily & Grace, cousins AliceAnn Mazza, Bob, Doug (Carole), David, JoAnn (Johnny Rhoden), Jason, brother in law Carl Leverenz (Judy) Mark, Karen.  Predeceased by Tommy Mazza and Jeff Rhoden.   Services will be conducted at the Holly Hill Church of Christ – 1725 Ridgewood Ave, Holly Hill, FL 32117, on Saturday, June 16th, 2018 at 3pm.
