William Warren Thompson, 75, of Ocala, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 29, 2015. He was born to the late William howard and Dorothy (nee: Peyton) Thompson on december 4, 1939 in Keyser, WV. Served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corp for eight years, and  tweleve years in  the U.S. Coast Guard until retirement. Continued Cival Service with the Dade County Sheriff for fourteen years and retiring from Maion County, Ocala FL Sept 2015.

He preceded in death by his son, Robert Dec 2013.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; sons, William of Key West, FL and Patrick of Fort Myers, FL; daughter-in-law, Rachel Thompson of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Danielle of Charlotte, NC, Michelle and Michael of San Antonio, TX.

Celebration of Williams life will be conducted on Monday, Nov 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM with a visitation from 12:00 PM to Service time. Final Rest with honors will be Wednesday, Nov 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
