Winona "Nonie" Ruth Porter Adams, 75, passed away under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice and Elan Buena Vista on July 16, 2018.  She was born to her loving parents Norman Lawrence Porter and Barbara Christine Pulsifer Porter on June 10, 1943 in Portland, Maine.  She is survived by her loving husband Al "Rick" Adams; children, Karen Michelle  Adams Chong(Wei-Li) , Andrea Nicole Adams  Toone(Matthew); grandchildren, Ethan Toone, Abbie Chong, Morgan Toone, Harrison Toone, Jillian Chong and one sister Elaine Witherbee (Gary).  Visitation with the Family will be held on August 17, 2018 at Buckfield Community Church from 6 to 8 PM.  The Memorial service will be held the next day at 2 PM in the same Church in Buckfield, Maine.   In Lieu of flowers please make contributions in her name to the following charities, Spirit Ride Inc, 7156 NC Highway 194 S., Banner Elk, NC 28604, Buckfield Community Church, 56 Turner St., Buckfield, Maine 04220 or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), JDRF Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter, 3333 N.
