Wm. Dale Moore 89, of Lehigh Acres, FL passed away on March 2, 2024, at his home with his loving wife by his side.

Dale was born in Pennsylvania to parents George and Pauline (Collet) Moore. He worked as Superintendent of Kendale Industries in Independence, OH for 34 years until his retirement. He was well liked and well respected there. Dale was a great family man and a loving father. He enjoyed woodworking and was always a handyman around the house. Above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was married on June 23, 1956, to Sophie Ann Ballash in California, PA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sophie Ann Moore; Son, Keith (Susan) Moore of Akron, OH; Daughters, Kathy (Ronnie Dorton) Moore of Streetsboro, OH, and Karlene (David) Holcomb of Inverness, FL; 3 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a grand-daughter.

Dale was an usher, avid volunteer, and member at Lee Boulevard Baptist Church, 3107 Lee Blvd in Lehigh Acres, FL. A memorial service is scheduled there for Monday, March 11, 2024, starting at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Mitch Bradshaw, with reception to follow immediately.
