Yaracelis Margarita Santana, 53, of Cape Coral, FL passed away on April 10, 2024. She was born on April 5, 1971, in Chicago, IL to parents Daniel Scott and Olga (Flores) Scott Roman. She was the Director of Student Aid at John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL. She enjoyed going out with friends and spending time with family. Yaracelis was also an avid frog collector. She moved to Florida in 2019.

She is preceded in death by daughter, Lillian Santana and father, Daniel Scott.   Yaracelis will be deeply missed by her mother, Olga Scott Roman; children, Danielle (Michael) Whalen, Nicholas Alonzo, Noah Alonzo, Jackson Santana; a grandson, Elias; siblings, Joanna Santiago and Davyell Scott; nieces, Alisha Scott, Alayna Scott, Isabella Bushey; nephew, Isaac Bushey; stepfather, Manuel Roman and many other loving friends.
