Yvonne Mae Chambers formally of Caro MI, age 87, passed away peacefully at home in Eustis, FL on March 11, 2018.

She was born in Argyle, MI on May 24, 1930 to the late David and Irene (Behr) Palmer.  She graduated from Cass City High School and went on to work as an attendant nurse at the Caro State Hospital until retirement.  Yvonne was a loving mother and grandmother and friend.  She was a talented painter and had a love for animals, traveling, spending time with family and had a very active social life.  Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, James "Sonny" Chambers.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Bill) Brannon of Umatilla, FL, Sherry (Sam) McDougald of Leesburg, FL, Rod Chambers of Caro, MI, Kelly Aycock of Eustis, FL, Sue Holloway of Greenville,  NC and stepson,  Jerry (Karen) Chambers of Midland, MI; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two nieces Cindy and Janice; one nephew Curtis.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Haselton Village club house, Eustis, FL.

Per her request a gravesite service will be held at the end of June in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City, MI.  Time and date to be announced.
