Zora Wilson Wells Jr, "Z", gently left this earth on January 27, 2022, in Port Charlotte, Fl at the age of 71.  He was born in Alexandria, VA to the late Zora W and Carrie E Wells.  He spent most of his working years in the insurance industry.  He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Mary (née Walsh), sisters-in-law Carol L Walsh and Kathleen A Walsh, brothers-in-law Robert L Walsh (Claudette), William C Walsh (Brenda) and Thomas G Walsh (Patty), and many beautiful dear friends.  He was predeceased by his sister Jody Elizabeth Wells and brother Jeffrey Lynn Wells.

He enjoyed sailing and power boating on the Chesapeake Bay, photography and potato chips.  He was an avid cook, enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and had a great sense of humor.  He adored and missed his three dogs.
