Jack Waldemar Haze, age 71, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, and DeLand, Florida, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

He was born on January 2, 1955, in Stalowa Wola, Poland, to the late Walerian Henryk Hejza and the late Leokadia (née Bazińska) Hejza.

Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara (Kolton) Haze; his daughter, Mary; and his sister, Theresa.

He is survived by his sons, Jack and Tony (Hope); his grandchildren, Jackson and Emelia, "Emmy," who were the light of his life in his later years, and he cherished every moment he spent with them; his brother, Daniel (Laura) Hejza; and his treasured nephew and niece, Brandon and Katelyn Hejza.
